The Cost and Benefits of Independent Financial Advice.

How much does it cost?

If you choose to go ahead with any of our recommendations, then we will earn an income from the product provider(s).

This income is usually an integral part of the product, because without the involvement of an Independent Financial Adviser, there would be additional work for the product provider concerned.

EMF will clearly state how much we are earning from the product(s) on the documentation supplied.

Business cost

Only a small percentage of the income we receive represents a profit for EMF, the balance goes towards the running of our business and developing client services, as follows:

The Benefits of Independent Financial Advice

Consider the chart below, it shows the difference between the best and worst performing personal pension plans over a 20 year period - similar products from different companies, but a huge variation in performance of nearly £150,000.

In this context, the income received by EMF is a very small price to pay for best advice.

(Past performance is not necessarily a guide to future performance. Future bonuses cannot be guaranteed as they come from profits yet to be earned. The value of units can fall as well as rise. Income is generated only after the product is set up and should it be lapsed or cancelled for any reason within a specified period, the product provider will reclaim a percentage from both the adviser and client in the form of a penalty.)

So why not go it alone?

You may not have the time or necessary expertise to choose the most suitable product to meet your needs.

EMF aims to build a long term relationship with you to benefit your financial well-being, in addition to providing cost effective and valuable advice in this complex area.

Your personal financial plan will be reviewed regularly, to keep it up to date with both your changing circumstances and developments in the market.

Don't leave your financial future to chance - the cost of not taking advice could be far greater than you imagine.
